Day 14 of 31 Days of Five Minute Free Writes!
Today’s word is “try” – five minutes on the timer… and go!
For those of you who saw my post go up at 8am and viewed it… Yep. I did it. I scheduled a post without ACTUALLY finishing it. ugh.
I could benefit from today’s word.
I did try sort of, but when the reality came down – I left the post unfinished when I squirreled.
That’s a term my troop co-leader came up for me. (thank you Carmen!) So I equate trying with the antithesis of squirreling. If I’m trying and staying on task and doing the things then squirreling doesn’t happen much or at least as often or with as obvious mistakes.
Anyhow, today over here at the Nerd Factory, it’s just Peppermint Bark and me. The others are on their annual Fall Campout with their dad!
Between occupying Pepper and enjoying the rain, I am going to try to accomplish a lot of sewing projects in my craft cave downstairs. Music playing and not a lot of squirreling happening – it will be a good day!
Try it for your day! Try not to squirrel and truly finish each and every task you begin. 🙂 It’s such a great feeling. Enjoy your Saturday!
